Departure from the hotel to Casablanca Valley. Just 30 minutes from Santiago is the Casablanca Valley. Relatively new to winemaking, this valley first started out with vines in the mid-1980s. It quickly turned a page in Chilean winemaking history. Chile’s first cold-climate coastal region soon released fresh, elegant wines that caught the world’s attention for your grapes: Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, and sparkling wines. Return to hotel.
The vineyards visited are: Veramonte, Casas del Bosque and Emiliana Organic.
