Full Day Tour
Departure from the hotel at 06:00 and then head towards the Pudeto sector to cross Lake Pehoé on a catamaran, towards the Paine Grande refuge. From there our walk to the French Valley begins along a clear path, which runs along the north shore of Lake Pehoé. In a few minutes there is a slight ascent that allows us to leave the lake behind us, and appreciate the Cuernos del Paine ahead (2,600 m, the highest).
After 30 minutes you reach Lake Skottsberg, known for the occasional eddies that the wind forms in its waters. The trail continues along the western shore of the lake, overlooking the Paine Grande (3,050 m). During the walk, several slopes come from the slopes of the hills and cross the path. We continue towards the Italian camp with a spectacular setting, in front of the Paine Grande and the French Glacier. From here you can continue into the valley, one of the most beautiful corners of the entire park.
The route to the interior of the French Valley (the intermediate vertical line of the “W”) begins at the Italian Camp. After an hour and a half we will arrive at an open and windy place, called Mirador (680 meters above sea level), from where the valley is dominated with a beautiful view.
After concluding with the view of this wonderful panorama, we begin the return to the Paine Grande sector to board the boat that brings us back to the Pudeto sector and start the return to the city of Puerto Natales, arriving at the hotel at the end of the day.
