Located in the northern region of Chile, on the border with Peru, the Atacama Desert is approximately 1000 km long. The driest desert in the world, with temperatures ranging from 0 ° C (at night) to 40 ° C (during the day), Atacama is an incredible place that combines ancient cultures and impressive landscapes.
In the region of San Pedro de Atacama it is possible to make different routes, such as wonderful valleys, where the sky merges with the earth and also with stars that seem to be at hand; mountains of colors; active geysers; lagoons where it does not sink due to the existing salt; and by bicycle, among others. And, of course, up and down the Andes mountains.
In Atacama, you can also try typical, unique and exotic dishes of the local culture, as well as marvel at the incredible fauna and flora of the region.
